You're offline. Saved courses still open, and photos are read right here on your phone once the photo reader has downloaded (it does that on its own the first time you open the app with signal).
This browser can't run the photo reader. Samples, saved courses, links and the editor all work. Try an up-to-date Safari or Chrome to read photos.
Courses you scan are saved here on this device and open without signal.
Your photo is read on your phone by the app's own reader. It isn't uploaded anywhere unless you tick Help improve photo reading, which saves that photo and your fixes (nothing about you) to train the reader. If your phone can't read a photo, it is sent to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to try instead. Your courses stay on this device unless you share a link. Stride counts are estimates from the drawing, so always walk the real course.
Your phone reads the sheet itself, usually in a few seconds. The first time, it downloads the reader (about 40 MB) unless that already happened in the background. Works best with a straight-on photo, the sheet filling the frame and no glare.
